Only by staying true to our original aspiration and forging our spirit can we proceed steadily and far-reaching; only with a sense of mission on our shoulders can we dare to take the lead and strive for excellence. Jiangsu Hansheng Printing Machine Co., Ltd. will also seize this opportunity as a catalyst, drawing strength from the pioneering spirit of our revolutionary forebears to overcome difficulties, nurturing our words and deeds with the moral principles of Confucian culture, driving innovation through industry-leading development philosophies, and fulfilling our responsibilities by putting people’s livelihoods first. We will continue to deepen the leading role of Party building, rally “red power,” and unleash “development momentum,” boldly moving forward on the track of the printing machinery industry and writing a new chapter of Hansheng’s development with even greater achievements.

As the chill of winter deepens, our original aspirations burn as brightly as ever. From December 5th to 7th, Party members and outstanding employee representatives from Jiangsu Hansheng Printing Machine Co., Ltd. set off at dawn, embarking on a Party-building outreach journey that seamlessly integrates red education, cultural heritage, and practical insights. From the spiritual sanctuary of revolutionary predecessors to bustling, everyday scenes brimming with local life, every step they took bears the crimson imprint of their faith, and each reflection they shared accumulates the strength needed to move forward.

First Stop: Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall—Calibrating Our Original Aspirations in the Spirit of “Selflessness”

Stepping into the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall, one is immediately struck by the solemn and dignified architecture—its blue-tiled roofs and gray walls seem to quietly recount the glorious years of a great statesman. Inside the exhibition halls, yellowed photographs and historical artifacts that bear the weight of time transport visitors back to an era marked by turbulent times yet brimming with fervent passion. From the youthful aspirations of “Studying for the Rise of China,” to the prime minister’s daily life after the founding of the nation, juggling countless responsibilities while dedicating himself wholeheartedly to the country; and further still, to his lifelong commitment to “living until old age, learning until old age, and reforming oneself until old age”—Premier Zhou’s sincere and unwavering dedication to serving the people with all his heart profoundly moves everyone present.

Before the life and deeds of Premier Zhou Enlai, veteran Party member Lao Ji paused for a long time: “The Premier devoted everything he had to the country and the people. This state of ‘selflessness’ is precisely the spiritual essence that we Communists should most earnestly carry forward.” Everyone expressed their determination to take the Premier as a role model and integrate this steadfast commitment and sense of responsibility into every single detail of their daily work.

Stop Two: Huaihai Campaign Memorial Hall—Honing Our Sense of Responsibility Amidst the Memories of War and Fire

If the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall serves as a calibration device for one’s original aspirations, then the Huaihai Campaign Memorial Hall is a crucible of spirit. As soon as you step into the exhibition hall, the five large characters—"The People’s Victory"—immediately catch the eye. Through the combination of panoramic paintings, authentic artifacts, and audiovisual technologies, the grand and tumultuous scenes of the 1948 campaign seem to come alive before your very eyes: the figures of civilian volunteers pushing wheelbarrows toward the front lines, and the warriors’ heroic charge amid bloodshed—each vividly embodies the profound meaning of “When the military and the people are united, their strength can cut through even metal.”

Before the Wall of Martyrs’ Names, everyone spontaneously paused and observed a moment of silence. As they heard the words, “The victory of the Huaihai Campaign…”

“Prosperity has been forged by the common people, pushing it forward with small handcarts,” remarked Xiao Qian, a young employee, as he reflected on this remark. “Before, reading these words in textbooks only left me deeply moved. But standing here today, I truly understand: the foundation of our Party will always be the people, and its lifeblood will always flow from the people.” Under the bright red Party flag, all Party members raised their right fists and renewed their oath of joining the Party. The resolute and powerful vows echoed long after throughout the exhibition hall.

Station Three: The Three Confucius Sites Scenic Area—Cultivating Confidence in the Roots of Our Culture

The spirit of red must be carried forward, and our national culture must be firmly upheld. Amidst the radiant morning light, the San Kong Scenic Area exudes an ancient and elegant charm. The towering pines of Xingtan and the intricately carved beams of the Dacheng Hall both embody the genetic code of China’s outstanding traditional culture. With hearts full of reverence, everyone pays homage to the Confucius Temple and tours the Confucius Mansion. Guided by knowledgeable docents, we gain a deeper understanding of the wisdom on state governance and the art of living embedded in the philosophies of “benevolence” and “ritual.”

“Confucian culture emphasizes ‘cultivating oneself, harmonizing one’s family, governing the state, and bringing peace to the world,’ which is entirely consistent with the Communist Party members’ requirement of ‘strengthening Party spirit and practicing our original aspiration and mission,’” shared Lao Ma, a veteran Party official who accompanied the group. This cultural journey enabled everyone to deeply recognize that inheriting China’s outstanding traditional culture is not only an important source for enhancing cultural confidence and uniting national strength, but also an essential course for Party members to take the lead in improving their own personal qualities.

Station Four: Shandong Yunjie Culture—Reflecting on Our Mission Through Innovative Practice

Stepping out of the hall of history and culture, we entered Shandong Yunjie Cultural Technology Co., Ltd.—a national model printing enterprise. In the production workshop and R&D center, everyone had the opportunity to closely observe the efficient operation of the intelligent printing production line and listened to the company’s story of leveraging Party building to drive technological innovation and promote high-quality development of the cultural industry. From traditional printing to digital publishing, from cultural products to cultural and creative IPs, and from institutional management to process-oriented guidance, Yunjie Culture’s development journey demonstrated the powerful synergy between Party building and corporate growth.

“Enterprise Party members are taking the lead in overcoming technical challenges and turning our ‘red heritage’ into a driving force for the company’s development—this is exactly the kind of example we should all be learning from,” said Xiao Li, a representative of outstanding employees. This visit made everyone realize that, whether during the revolutionary era or in times of peace, the Communist Party members’ mission has always been aligned with the direction of the times and synchronized with the pace of the company’s development.

Station 5: Zibo Badajuju—Putting Our Mission into Practice Amidst the Bustling Human World

As the final stop on our exploration journey, we arrived at a popular check-in spot—the Bajubu Community Market in Zibo. Though it lacks the grandeur of towering skyscrapers, it exudes the most authentic and heartwarming atmosphere of everyday life. With neatly arranged stalls, warm-hearted vendors, and affordable goods, this community-friendly venue—renovated from an old market—is now a vivid testament to Zibo’s development philosophy of “the Party putting the people at the center.”

Everyone walked into the stalls to chat with the vendors, listening to them share how the market’s renovation had transformed their business operations and feeling the sense of happiness brought about by the Party and the government’s practical efforts to improve people’s livelihoods. “Party building is not just an empty slogan—it’s reflected in the concrete details that make our people’s ‘vegetable baskets’ richer and their lives more convenient,” said Zhang Jun, secretary of the company’s Party branch, voicing what everyone was thinking. Here, the principle of “serving the people wholeheartedly” has become tangible and vivid.

Our original aspiration remains as firm as a rock, and we persist in steady action without slackening—Reflections and Insights Gained from the Activity

Although the journey of exploration has come to an end, the emotions and reflections lingering in everyone’s hearts will remain long after. From inheriting the spirit of our revolutionary forebears to carrying forward the cultural heritage of China, from innovative practices in corporate development to the vibrant, everyday realities of people’s lives—this journey has provided each participant with a profoundly enriching intellectual experience.

This event not only deepened our understanding of the Party’s history and fine traditions but also clarified the responsibilities and commitments of Party members and employees in the new era: First, it strengthened our faith and ideals—inspired by the selfless dedication of our revolutionary predecessors, we will be better equipped to face challenges and bravely shoulder heavy responsibilities in our future work; second, it fostered a deep-rooted commitment to serving the people—the practical efforts of the Eight Bureaus have reminded us of the profound meaning behind the saying, “The country belongs to the people, and the people are the country”; third, it ignited our motivation to forge ahead—the inspiring story of Yun Jie Culture’s growth encourages us to devote ourselves to our work with even greater enthusiasm and to transform our red heritage into concrete, action-oriented strength.

Only by staying true to our original aspiration and forging our spirit can we proceed steadily and far-reaching; only with a sense of mission on our shoulders can we dare to take the lead and strive for excellence. Jiangsu Hansheng Printing Machine Co., Ltd. will also seize this opportunity as a catalyst, drawing strength from the pioneering spirit of our revolutionary forebears to overcome difficulties and surmount challenges; nurturing our words and deeds with the moral principles of Confucian culture; driving innovation through industry-leading development philosophies; and fulfilling our responsibilities by putting people’s livelihoods at the heart of everything we do. We will continue to deepen the leading role of Party building, rally “red power,” and unleash “development momentum,” boldly advancing on the path of the printing machinery industry and writing a new chapter of Hansheng’s development with even greater achievements.
