When printing with liquid crystal ink, the following points should be noted:

When printing with liquid crystal ink, the following points should be noted:

(1) The printing plate should be filled with enough ink at once, and the ink should be evenly distributed. Do not add ink midway to prevent bubbles;

(2) When screen blockage or blistering is found during printing, the machine should be immediately shut down and cleaned with alcohol and water;

(3) The printing pressure should be moderate. Low pressure, insufficient ink on the printing substrate; Excessive pressure can cause the LCD capsule to rupture, affecting the color effect;

(4) To make the color of the printing section more noticeable, the printing background color should be black or dark. The bottom layer can be made with water-soluble ink or organic solvent ink. Printing methods include screen printing, offset printing, and gravure printing. When using organic solvent ink, the ink film should be thoroughly dried after printing, and there should be no residual organic solvents, otherwise it will react with the liquid crystal and affect the color effect;

(5) Pay attention to the smoothness and smoothness of the ink layer, and control the thickness of the ink layer to 15-35 μ m. To improve the hair color effect;

(6) Printing color sequence arrangement. You can first use black (or dark) ink to print the background color, and then use liquid crystal ink to print the desired pattern; You can also first print the bottom with liquid crystal ink, and then use water-soluble black (or dark color) ink to print the desired shade pattern for coverage.

3. Post press processing

(1) The drying method is natural drying, and hot air drying can also be used at around 40 degrees Celsius. Do not accelerate or heat up the high temperature for rapid drying;

(2) Do not stack printed materials under heavy pressure. After drying, try not to stack and overlap too much, and do not apply excessive local pressure during cutting to avoid crushing the LCD microcapsules;

(3) When using liquid crystal ink, the color change temperature range should be determined based on the purpose of use and the durability of the liquid crystal should be considered according to its purpose. In order to improve the surface wear resistance, temperature resistance, air resistance, and maintain its glossiness of the ink layer, the surface can be coated with glossy paint or coated with protective film.
